Besides public taxis and buses, UBER is also available, although coverage is limited. The town of Quepos is only a 10-minute taxi ride away (5 kilometres) from the hotel. The public bus stops in front of the hotel roughly every 30 minutes.

You will find supermarkets both towards the beach and in the opposite direction from the hotel, about 1 km away.

Being in the middle of the rainforest, mosquitoes and ants are common. Although we make every effort to keep them away, you may see ants in the kitchen. Just like the monkeys and the sloths, these insects are part of the natural surroundings.

A hospital run by the government of Costa Rica is 15 minutes from the hotel. We also work with several private clinics that accept international insurance, and bilingual doctors are available 24 hours a day for any kind of emergency.

The Pacific coast of Costa Rica enjoys a classic, predictable monsoon climate, meaning there are only two distinct seasons: rainy and dry. The rainy season normally runs from mid-April to mid-November. During this time the mornings are usually clear and it often rains towards evening.

We have 3 pools, one of them adults only. They are not heated, as the local climate makes it unnecessary.

We do not provide separate pool or beach towels. Each guest has one towel for use both in the room and at the pool. Towels can be exchanged at reception or left on the floor for housekeeping to replace.

Yes, we have a laundry service charged per item. Prices range from $0.50 to $2.
